Before you start

Have your product name, description, selling price, stock quantity and clear photos ready. You should also know the correct category and whether the product comes in different sizes, colours or other options.

Your seller account should already be verified before you begin.

Add one product

From your seller dashboard:

Open Products.
Select Add New Product.
Choose Single.

You can then complete the product form.

Add the product details

Start with a clear product name. The customer should be able to understand what you are selling without opening the full listing.
- For example, Samsung Galaxy A54 128GB Black is much better than simply Phone. In the same way, Men's Black Leather Shoes, Size 42 tells the customer far more than Nice Shoes.
Choose the category and subcategory that best match the product. This helps customers find it when they search or browse Tambala.
You should also choose the correct condition, such as New, Like New, Good, Acceptable or Refurbished, and add the brand if the product has one.

Write a clear description

The description should tell the customer what they need to know before buying. Explain what the product is, its important features or specifications, what is included and anything else that may affect the customer's decision.

For example:

Samsung Galaxy A54 with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM. The phone is black and comes in the original box with its accessories. It supports Dual SIM and 5G and has a 50MP main camera and 5000mAh battery.

Keep the description clear and honest. It does not need to be long if the important information is already there.

Add the price and stock

Enter the price the customer will pay and the number of units you currently have available.

If you are running a genuine discount, you can also add a compare-at price so customers can see the difference between the normal price and the current price.

Keep your stock accurate. If you have five items available, enter five. You can also add an SKU or internal product code if you use one to manage your stock.

Add sizes, colours or other options

Use variants when the same product comes in different options, such as colour, size or style, etc.

For example, a shirt may be available in red, blue and black, with sizes small, medium and large. Turn on Has Variants, add the option names and values, then generate the combinations.

You can then set the price, stock and availability for each option where needed.

Variants should only be used for different versions of the same product. Completely different products, such as two different phone models, should normally have separate listings.

Add product photos

Upload clear photos that show the real product. Use your strongest image first because this becomes the main photo customers see.

Where helpful, add other images that show different angles, important details, packaging, included items or the product in use.

Use clear, well-lit images and avoid adding phone numbers, contact details or unnecessary text over the photos. You can add up to 10 pictures (JPG, PNG, WebP, or iPhone HEIC). Originals up to 10 MB each — we compress for fast upload (final file must be under 5 MB on the server).

Add several products at once

If you have more than one product to add, you can use Multiple Products instead of creating and submitting each listing separately.

This is useful when you are setting up your store for the first time, adding new stock or listing several related products.

Add the details for each product, review them together and submit them when everything is ready. Check each listing carefully before submitting, especially the price, stock, photos and product options.

Duplicate a product

If you are adding something very similar to a product already in your store, duplicating the existing listing can save time.

Open the existing product and choose Duplicate. Tambala will create a copy that you can edit.

Make sure you change everything that is different, including the product name, photos, price, stock, variants, description and SKU where necessary. Read the whole listing before publishing it so that information from the original product is not accidentally left behind.

Check the product before submitting

Before you finish, look at the listing as if you were the customer.

Make sure the product name is clear, the category is correct, the description explains what the customer will receive, the price and stock are accurate, the right options are available and the photos show the real product clearly.

Use Preview if you want to see how the listing will appear to customers. If you are not ready to finish, use Save Draft and return later.

When everything looks correct, select Submit for Review.

What happens after you submit

Your product will show a review status while Tambala checks the listing.

Once it is approved, it can be published and made available to customers. If something needs to be corrected, you will see the reason. Open the product, make the changes and submit it again.

The purpose of the review is simply to make sure customers receive clear and accurate information.

A good product listing should answer five questions

Before publishing, make sure a customer can quickly understand:

What is it?
How much does it cost?
Which option do I want?
Is it available?
What will I actually receive?

If the listing answers those questions clearly, you are in a good place.
